IMPORTANT PRODUCTION DATES

Mandatory Rehearsals: February 21st, 22nd, 28th, March 1st (11:00-5:00 at VMS)

 

Mandatory Shows: March 6th, 7th, 8th

 
 
 
 

Attendance

Please notify the directors of any absence not on the school absentee list. You must notify the directors of any Saturday absence!

YOU MUST COMPLETE THE CONFLICT FORM (link on the website and in Google Classroom).
 
UNEXCUSED ABSENCES WILL BE GROUNDS FOR DISMISSAL FROM THE SHOW.
 
A stated conflict is an excused absence....

 

Pick up your child promptly at 4:10 or 5:30.  As per school policy, students will be put on the late bus at 4:10 if the parent is not at pick-up.  5:30 rehearsals will not have a late bus.  Students are NOT permitted to walk home at 5:30 as it gets dark before 5:30 in the winter.

 

Casting

 

Casting is at the directors' discretion and based on student talent and ability and the directors' vision for the play.  Any questions regarding casting can be brought to Ms. Keith.
 
 

 

Tech Crew

Students selected for stage crew will be required to attend all of these mandatory rehearsals to ensure the safety of all students and quality of performance.  THIS TIME IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE DEPENDING ON THE NEED.

 

 

COSTUMING

 Costumes and production needs for Willy Wonka, Jr. are very unique and elaborate. 

  

You may be required to get a shirt, or skirt/pants, provide stockings and shoes. 

 
Any full costume purchased by you remains yours to keep.  Anything made by Mrs. Zaum remains VMS Drama Club's property even if you assisted in the purchase of the material.
 

 

ALL COSTUMES MUST BE APPROVED BY MRS. ZAUM, NO ONE CAN CHANGE THEIR COSTUME ONCE APPROVED WITHOUT MRS. ZAUM'S PERMISSION.

  

Costume information will be updated, and made available on the website and emails.  This included specific dates regarding costume fittings.
 
 
Corporate Sponsorships


We are looking for Corporate Sponsors.  If you know of anyone who would be interested in supporting our outstanding drama club production, please contact Ms. Lewis lewisr@voorhees.k12.nj.us

Corporate Sponsorships are tiered with three different levels.  All sponsors receive print ad exposure in our playbill, and on our banners and t-shirts.
We are looking for parents to help us solicit these sponsors with contacts in our community.
