Welcome to VMS
My name is Russ Winsett, Jr. I am a proud product of Voorhees Public Schools. I attended Osage Elementary and Voorhees Middle School, and graduated from Eastern High School. I began my career in education at VMS as an Instructional Associate in 1995. From 1997-2003, I taught 7th grade mathematics at Willingboro Memorial Junior High School. I also taught mathematics at Glassboro High School from 2003-2013, where I was the Varsity Basketball Coach from 1998 through 2013.
I earned Bachelors Degrees from Richard Stockton College in Business and Elementary Education, respectively. I earned Masters Degrees from Marygrove College in Teacher Education, and Wilmington University in School Leadership. I am certified to teach elementary education, business education, and secondary mathematics.
I am married to my lovely wife Megan and we have two sons, Jack and Sam .
I am very excited to be part of a great team at VMS. As the 8th Grade Assistant Principal, I look forward to working with you and your children to keep Voorhees a positive, safe, and great learning environment that it has been for many years.
